South Sudan National Referee Diego Thรธncien has officially announced his withdrawal from participation in the upcoming Gok Inter-Payams Peace Tournament โ€“ Juba.

According to his statement, the decision came after careful consideration and personal reflection, noting that the reason behind his withdrawal is purely personal and requesting the community to respect his decision.

Despite stepping away from participation, Diego emphasized that his absence does not affect his love, respect, and commitment to the Gok community. He reaffirmed his support for the tournament and pledged his moral support to the organizers, players, officials, and all sons and daughters of Gok working hard to ensure the success of the peace tournament.

He further highlighted the important role of sports in promoting peace, unity, and brotherhood among the people, while expressing his hopes for a peaceful and successful tournament guided by fairness, respect, and togetherness.

Diego Thรธncien remains committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen peace and unity within the Gok community.
