Nile City Back on Top.

Nile City FC have reclaimed the top spot in the TK Sports Yambio FA First Division League 2025/2026 after a comfortable 2-0 victory over Super Star FC, the win means the citizens have now collected 9 points from three matches

Winger Bakoyogo Teyason Magaya broke the deadlock in the first half with a fine finish, his second goal of the season following brilliant work down the left by striker Emmanuel Akuana. Later, substitute Baraka Granty - who replaced the injured Teyason - sealed the win with a superb goal from Saddam Peter Opira’s pinpoint cross.

Super Star FC struggled to create chances and found it hard to break down a solid Nile City defence, which impressively remains unbeaten and yet to concede a goal this season.
