STOP DREDGING, IT'S NOT IN YOUR INTEREST!
PROFESSOR ELKHAZIN CAUTIONS.

A world-renowned expert on the Nile waters has called on South Sudan to stop the dredging project saying it is not in the interest of South Sudanese.

Professor Tag Elkhazin who has over 50 years of experience in water resource management said the government will otherwise be committing treason against its citizens.

Elkhazin advised that South Sudanese debate carefully on the matter before embarking on the project.

This is because he says, it is in the interest of a foreign country, not South Sudanese interest.

Elkhazin was speaking during a virtual presentation on Jonglei Canal and water resources in South Sudan.

“My recommendation is that South Sudan should start a debate on where will South Sudan fit in the Nile Basin Initiative? Stop Dredging, this is not the time,” said Prof. Elkhazin.

“What does Dredging do? What is positive and what is negative? What is positive is that… it discharges more water into the main river,

“What is negative is when the discharged water is not for the benefit of the people, and the nation, but the benefit of another nation. That is what is negative and it’s a crime,

“Allowing Dredging of the tributaries so that the discharges go into the Nile and it goes up to the Delta, is a crime against the rights of the people of South Sudan,”

“The impact of Dredging is everlasting, that is the problem, once you Dredge that SUDD, the water flows and you lose it, finish.”

“When the Egyptians are looking South, they don’t see people, they don’t see the land, they only see water, you got to be careful about that.”

Prof. Elkhazin said messing with Bahr el Ghazal Basin or Sobat Basin is a crime.

“Messing with Bahr El Ghazal or Sobat Basin will be committing High treason. You [South Sudanese] need to rally all the forces and be hands-off. This is not an issue for one or two people regardless of where their position is, you mess around with these two basins, they are properties of the people of South Sudan,” Prof. Elkhazin said.

“The Egyptians can’t come to dredge Sue which is under the Jur River and they want to Dredge the western swamps and they want to Dredge Sobat and what they give is a hospital or dispensary, or a diesel generator, those are not benefits. So, we don’t want the people of South Sudan to be taken for a ride.”

The Nile waters expert pointed out that flooding is seasonal and should not be a reason to drain the Sudd tributaries that will have an everlasting environmental impact.

He stated that the Nile Hydro-Politics is not an issue for politicians to play with, saying it is an issue of National Security.

Prof. Elkhazin said the Nile waters are not an issue for the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation alone, saying it is part of the natural resources of South Sudan.

He suggested the formation of an all-party parliamentary committee on Water Resources, Environment, and Ecology.

The Sudanese-born-Canadian citizen also called for the appointment of knowledgeable legal advisors to the Ministry of Water Resources, but accountable to the Ministry of Legal Affairs.

He urged South Sudan to have a policy on how to deal with the SUDD waters, sell it, keep the rights, and do nothing for now.

Prof. Elkhazin trained and worked in Sudan, Sweden, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Eritrea, Nigeria, Chad, Nigeria, Canada, and the United Kingdom in Water Resources, Human Resources, and Implementation of Infra Structural and Energy Projects.

Foremost, I would wholeheartedly thank and congratulate our South Sudanese Basketball team led by Luol Deng who portrayed the positive and strong image of our country to the world via basketball skills, not political skills.

Dear folks, I don't accede with those who are suggesting Luol Aldo Ajou Deng be appointed as a minister of Youth and sports when he's back home. Let's not jeopardize Luol's carrier. Luol is not a politician, but a basket-baller. The fact that Luol led South Sudan into world champion games is dearly different from your unpopular suggestion.

Politics as a struggling for power has so many obstacles and most threats which might take Luol to restart from less if otherwise.
If it's true that we love Luol Deng to keep achieving honors for our country and himself, then let's all of us together with our government endow and provide all necessities that would make his carrier glimmer.

He might have political skills, but ask yourself, how many young brilliant youth who are well equipped and fire up to serve in politics, and deliver services effectively to the satisfactory expectations of our citizens and are not progressing in these political arenas?

Luol won't shine in the field of political games like he is doing in Basketball games, besides, being a minister of Youth and Sports is not only to deal with sports activities, its scope has so much more than that to be done. If not because most of our Ministers don't walk their talks, the current minister of youth and sports would be doing different activities.

The issues of youth capacity building to be jobs creators, peace building, fighting for the rights of youth, youth empowerment, and empowering students' associations, unions, and organizations of youth would be among the priorities of his ministry.

My point is, let's support Luol Deng in his carrier (basketball) rather than poisoning his progress in the name of politics. We wish him more achievements in basketball games.

There's the likelihood that guns may not function as far as UNMISS will use any nuclear machine to shut down any gun. That's to say that UNMISS is prepared to mastermind what they did in Rwanda in 1994.

Let me tell you, Equatorians and Nuers have leagued up by purchasing these machetes since last year.
I understand that we are outstanding warriors of all times, but, believe me before we defeat them, we will realize that a considerable number of people have been lost due to our ignorance to act earlier.

Get for yourself 1+ and keep it in your room, in the car, inside your shop, or at your Office just in case.

When you see these in markets or anywhere, just pick one as soon as today.

I know well, as of now, that you'll ignore this but your ignorance will cost you your lives very soon.
When the time comes, you will realize that it was too late to take my advice seriously.

Warrap State Legislatures are calling upon the Presidency to intervene on the case of mistreatment against MPs and high corruption in the state under the leadership of Hon. Gen. Aleu Ayieny Aleu.
Delayment of Swearing in and Challenges Facing Warrap State Legislative Assembly.
Last year in late December, Governor of Warrap State, Hon. Gen. Aleu Ayieny Aleu directed the Acting Clerk of the Assembly to inform all the members of the parliament to report themselves to Warrap State Headquarter Kuajok before date 5 January 2022 which was scheduled for swearing in but unfortunately the swearing in didn't take place and the Governor failed to give reason for delayment.
Secondly, he neglected to accommodate the members of parliament but only accommodated some of the members who are closed to him which is not the case to other states.
Thirdly, Governor said" your settlement here in Warrap State, Kuajok is illegal and I am not responsible yet he was the one who informed us to come.
Governor stressed to all MPs in Warrap state while he was being quoted saying when he was inspecting the Assembly premises, he said "either you disperse or remain here illegally and I wouldn't be responsible for any member accept the one who would cooperate with me, hence, he later added that he is capable to run the whole state government alone without legislatures.
However, base on our observation on Gen. Aleu Ayieny‘s leadership style, as Members of Reconstituted Warrap State Legislative Assembly, we have witnnessed numerous challenges facing the Government under his adminstration. Gen. Aleu is so negligence with autocratic attitudes. Gen. Aleu Ayieny is playing all the tactics to derail the implementation of R-ARCSS in Warrap State.
Corruption is high in Warrap State, whatsoever, since there is no check and balance in sub organs, Aleu's leadership lacks supervision on cabinets activities.

When Colonialists came to our Land, the Bantus of Equatoria and Shilluk used to carry them like this, but this Slavery of carrying another man has never happened in Dinka Land. When they tried to apply the same on us, the goddamn white man was thrown down and found himself on the ground. This is where the Whites established monarchies/Kingdoms in Shilluk, Azande, etc. because they can easily be enslaved, colonized, and led through one man's dictatorship, authoritarianism, and tyranny. But not the Mighty Muonyjang/Dinka.

Mading Bor, the land of the self-proclaimed wise minority Dinka is where everything about the Whites is considered HOLY. They've replaced their Africanism with Western religion, Christianity.
They've again abandoned hard work and replaced it with a refugee lifestyle of free food, free school, and free clothing. When you find them praying in ECSS Churches, you will think that Heaven belongs to them, sadly, they've already regarded Jesus as Manh Nyan Buor.
When they see a white man, they feel like the King has visited their land. WFP Chief is their godfather and they can carry him on their shoulders as long as they still breathe.

Now, this is what Buor has registered in our history!
To please their godfathers such that they continue to get free food, free tents/shelters, free education, free medication, and free so and so.
