It has been quite long since H.E Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic of South Sudan, relieved Maj. Gen. Bor Wutchok Bor of his position as the governor of the Defunct Eastern Lakes State. Despite his resolute dedication and loyalty to the liberation struggle, Maj. Gen. Bor has not been assigned to any government portfolio for an extended period of time.

Maj. Gen. Bor is a disciplined and loyal freedom fighter who remained steadfast in his commitment to the SPLA/M, even when others left the front lines for better opportunities in Khartoum he was in the Bush with other comrades who truly brought us South Sudan as a nation today. His calm demeanor after being relieved and his continued support for the government signify his commitment to the nation.

It would be of great importance to appoint Maj. Gen. Bor to a government portfolio at this time. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the principles that guided the creation of South Sudan make him well suited for a government position. By appointing him, the nation can recognize his years of service and utilize his skills for the benefit of the country.

Maj. Gen. Bor's appointment to a government position would not only honor his dedication to the nation but also contribute to the progress and development of South Sudan. His appointment would be a significant step in fulfilling the desires of the South Sudanese people and showcasing the government's commitment to utilizing the expertise of dedicated individuals like Maj. Gen. Bor for the betterment of the nation.
