Apuk Lith Artists Union in Juba Removes Chairman Over Performance Concerns Role
The Apuk Lith Artists Union in Juba has officially dismissed its Chairman, Anyuon Pilot, from his position with immediate effect, just months after he was elected to lead the organization.
According to a resolution reached by the Union's General Assembly and members of the Artists Union, the decision was made after concerns emerged regarding his inability to effectively carry out the responsibilities and duties entrusted to him.
following his removal, the Union has announced that applications are now open for interested and qualified artists wishing to contest for the vacant chairmanship position. The leadership has encouraged eligible members to submit their applications as the process to appoint a new chairman gets underway.The election process are expected to be communicated by the Union in the coming days.
