Our acknowledgment of Jesus doesn't grant Him authority, nor does our praise elevate His status. His name doesn't start out low, waiting for human effort to lift it higher. He is already supreme. When we worship, we aren't building a pedestal for Him; we are simply bowing before the throne He already occupies.
