An incident occurred in Pariak, Chuei-Keer Payam, during celebrations to welcome the newly appointed chief. The commissioner attended the occasion and was warmly welcomed by the community.

However, tensions reportedly arose when some youths from Abii, who were allegedly under the influence of alcohol, disarmed a security guard. This led to a misunderstanding and confrontation between the youths and security personnel.

The commissioner said soldiers opened fire in response to the situation, explaining that they did so to protect themselves amid the confrontation.

The incident has raised concerns about security and the need for calm during public gatherings.
