The Governor of Warrap State, Hon. Bol Wek Agoth, paid an official visit to Twic County today, Sunday, August 24, 2025.
During his visit, the Governor called upon all Twic communities to convene in Turalei, the county capital, on Monday, August 25, for an open public meeting aimed at fostering dialogue and unity.
Governor Bol Wek Agoth was warmly received by a massive crowd of residents who turned out in Turalei town to extend their heartfelt welcome.
The vibrant reception reflected the community’s eagerness to engage with leadership and share their aspirations for peace, development, and progress.

The Twic Mayardit community is divided into two counties.
3 payams in the East and 3 West.
This division came as the community is waiting to welcome Warrap governor Bol Week Agoth on Sunday, today.

Wunrok, Panyok and Akoc will gather in Wunrok to receive the governor after that governor will come to Turalei and meet 3 payams that include Ajak, Aweng and Turalei.
This will bring collision of views share by the community to governor.

There is a difference between a refugee and a settler.

Many South Sudanese do not clearly understand the distinction between a refugee—someone who flees their country to seek refuge in another—and someone who is forcefully removed from their land and relocated to another country that agrees to settle them.

A refugee may return to their country of origin if the political situation or conflict is peacefully resolved. In contrast, someone who is evicted from their land and resettled in another country is not expected to return; they are intended to integrate and remain permanently.

I believe Israel does not intend to accept Gazans or Palestinians back into Gaza anytime in the future if it succeeds in relocating them to South Sudan.

Therefore, South Sudan must understand that it would not be receiving Palestinians as refugees, but as settlers.

I want government supporters to get this, and with it sheer up theirs leader for receiving laundered millions.

BREAKING: Woman kill Co-wife in Aweil East
A woman at Rumrol village has killed her cowife yesterday, according to police report.
“She died immoderately after she was stabbed by her cowife with spear,” Aweil East police authority condemned the incident.
Rumrol village is under Madhol Payam, and therefore Payam administrator also confirmed
“Police has been deployed in the area to prevent incitement,” Payam administrator Tong said.
