South Sudan people’s defense forces have repeatedly been spotted in Ayod county of Jonglei state.

According to authorities, the South Sudan people’s defense forces in opposition have been forcefully pushed back to the northern part of the county after capturing the area for more than a week.

This happened after colonial Garang Ateny, the SSPDF unit commander warned the opposition forces to hand over their weapons and surrender, mentioning that the country’s government will not allow them to step into Juba territory.
