Nile Star Temporarily Suspends Passenger Transport Services Amid Operational Review

**Kampala, 6 November 2025** — Nile Star Trade Link Limited has announced a temporary suspension of all passenger transport services effective Thursday, 6 November 2025. The company stated that the decision is part of an ongoing operational review and restructuring process aimed at improving service delivery and enhancing customer safety and satisfaction.

In a public notice issued by the company’s management, Nile Star emphasized that while passenger transport services are on hold, its parcel and luggage delivery operations will continue uninterrupted across all usual routes.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your continued support and understanding during this period,” the notice read in part.

The company assured customers that updates regarding the resumption of passenger services will be communicated in due course.

Nile Star has been one of the leading intercity transport companies in Uganda, providing both passenger and cargo services. The recent suspension follows what the company described as a strategic restructuring effort to strengthen its operational capacity.
