Cherry Long claps back at critics: “It’s my life, my rules – take Lady Kola with you”
Singer Cherry Long has hit back at fans and critics questioning his recent weight loss, saying he’s tired of being the subject of online gossip.
In a video from a recent performance that went viral, fans pointed out the singer’s apparent weight loss, sparking speculation and concern. Some even blamed his girlfriend, fellow artist Lady Kola, for the changes in his appearance.
But Cherry is having none of it.
Responding to both the fans and what seemed to be a subtle jab from Lady Kola—who earlier posted that “Cherry Long is his own enemy”—the singer took to social media with a fiery message.
“My life, my rules,” he wrote. “To those talking negatively about me, be informed that I can gain weight and lose weight anytime. If you’re not okay with it, leave my life and my business alone. You can also take Lady Kola with you.”
While it’s unclear whether the couple is going through a rough patch, Cherry’s message makes it clear he wants space—from both public commentary and those linking his personal life to his physical appearance.
