Singer Martin Mayep Appeals for Assistance in Locating Missing Wife

South Sudanese singer Martin Mayep has appealed to the public for assistance in locating his wife, who went missing in Juba on Thursday, 23 July 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m.

According to the singer, his wife, Adior Akuei, also known as Adior Ading, has not been seen since Thursday evening, and her phone has remained switched off and unreachable.

In a statement shared on social media, Martin urged anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the family or report to the nearest police station.

"My wife has been missing since Thursday evening, 23 July 2026, at around 6:30 p.m. Until now, her phone is not going through. Her name is Adior Akuei, also known as Adior Ading. If anyone has any information about her, please contact us or report to the nearest police station," Martin Mayep said.

The singer also called on members of the public and media platforms to widely share the information to assist in locating his wife.

Anyone with relevant information is requested to contact the family at 0923333024 or 0983333324, or report to the nearest police station.

Artist thiep Agiu has publicly claimed that he was allegedly beaten by The Bodyguards of H.E Hussein Abdelbagi Ayii at his residence in Thonypiny the night before yesterday

VP Hussein Abdelbagi donates 8 motorbikes, uniforms to Aweil East Paramount chiefs—Dalwuot Media reported

The Vice President for Service Cluster, Hussein Abdelbagi Akol, has donated eight motorbikes and branded chiefs’ uniforms to paramount chiefs in Aweil East County to improve their mobility and enable them to better serve communities across the county.

The donation followed a request from the chiefs, who said the lack of reliable means of transport had hindered their ability to reach people in remote areas and effectively carry out their traditional leadership responsibilities.

Those who received include Sultan Yel Aguer Geng of Lou Aguer Geng, Sultan Makuac Makuac Kuol of Apoth Makuac Kuol, and Sultan Yor Lual Malong Yor of Ajong Malong Yor.

Others are Sultan Garang Deng Rual of Akanjok, Sultan Them Tong Tong of Ajuong Thii, and Sultan Akec Ken Kuac Ngor of Duluit Kuac Ngor.

The remaining recipients are Sultan Ngong Ngong Deng of Wun Diing and Sultan Abuk Gar Wol, who represents women in the traditional leadership structure.

Speaking during the handover, the chiefs expressed appreciation for the support, noting that the motorbikes would ease movement between villages and strengthen communication and coordination with local communities.

The donation forms part of ongoing efforts by the Vice President to support traditional leaders and strengthen grassroots governance structures, particularly in rural communities where chiefs play a key role in conflict resolution, community mobilization, and local administration.

Community leaders said the motorbikes are expected to enhance the chiefs' outreach and improve service delivery at the local level.
