DECLARATION OF CANDIDACY:

Based on consultations with Pajaak community yesterday during the Pajaak Community General Assembly meeting, I officially declared my candidacy for the Lakes State Legislative Assembly membership.

I declared before my community that I will contest for Member of Parliament in the Lakes State Legislative Assembly to represent the constituency of Tinagau and Yali Payams. This came as a result of political calculation and balancing of power.

The Ciec Constituency in the National Assembly has been held by the Ador section since 2005-2026 for 21 years, and in the coming elections the representative will come from the Lou section. The Tinagau and Yali Constituency in the Lakes State Legislative Assembly was held by Pajaak community since 2005-2026 for 21 years.

In this calculation, the National Assembly seat will go to Lou section this time, and it is where we expect anyone from Ajak community to take it if possible, because Lt. Gen. Marial Chanuong Yol was an eligible candidate for this seat before his appointment as Caretaker Deputy Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs. If anyone from Yali gets the national seat, then the Constituency in the Lakes State Legislative Assembly will still go to Pajaak community, and that is where I will contest.

If the National Assembly seat is taken by the Kuac community, then the Ajak community would take a big position in the national government, specifically Gen. Marial Chanuong Yol will progress.

Pajaak community will be in a dilemma if not given consideration because we will remain as spectators and backbenchers for 5 years until the next tenure. I will contest to represent Pajaak community, and if Ajak community claims the representation from our hands later as it is their right, then consideration should be given to me to represent my community because there will be a Party List and even the Cabinet after the elections.

Pajaak community is part of Ciec Manyiel and we have significant contributions
