DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT

TO: Gok Community, Lakes State, and South Sudan at Large,

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Hon. Luka Mathen Topiny, who was tragically shot dead yesterday evening in Gudele, Juba, by unknown criminals.

The family, together with the police authorities, is currently following up on the investigations, and two suspects have been arrested.

Mourners are kindly requested to gather at Nemaat, at his younger brother’s residence, opposite the Engineering Division (Mandizin) New Site Road.

It's saddened to had learned the killing of the young and promising leader, Hon. Luka Mathen Toupiny who's a South Sudan National MP representing Cueibet County.

The incident happened last night in Juba, Gudele where unknown gummen rushed into his house and fired bullets leaving Hon. Luka Mathen dead.

With this hard times, the Gok Community can't hold tears and grieving for the tragic loss of the prominent leader.

A family member of the young and energetic wrestler, Gen. Akool Khor, has confirmed that Gen. Akool is listed under Bor County and will be participating for Bor County, where he developed his skills.

According to Marial, a family member who called the media for clarification this evening, Akool has no blood relation with Angakuei or Bor County, but he is living there peacefully with them. Marial also stated that Akool himself has promised to do many things for Twic East County in the near future.

For now, Akool and his family are appealing to the Twic East community and fans to stop the negative posts on social media regarding his situation and to give him space to focus on improving his wrestling skills, as he will do more for Twic East County his original home in the near future.
