The RUMYU Electoral Committee 2026 - Juba would like to inform the public that we have received delegates from 18 out of 22 payams, with the exception of the following:

Rumbek Centre County:
โ€ข Mayom Payam
โ€ข Matangai Payam

Rumbek North County:
โ€ข Madol Payam
โ€ข Malueth Payam

The above-mentioned payams are given upto Friday to submit their lists. Nevertheless, the EC leadership requests all the accredited media houses to attend the press conference schedule for Saturday, 26th September, 2026.

Hon. Daniel Makol Dhal Malith has declared his candidacy for the constituency seat in Parliament for next election at the National Assembly in Juba.

The constituency seat is now vacant following the dissolution of the National Assembly last night by the presidential decree.

Daniel Makol who is contesting for constituency seat number 10 in Greater Akop said that he will campaign for poverty reduction and insecurity in rural Greater Akop communities.
