As the SPLM activities in Northern Bahr EL Ghazal State have drastically declined as a result of a weak leadership under the current state leadership of Hon. Simon Ober, the people and members of the SPLM in NBGs/Aweil are calling for positive rescue of the state from a total collapse through re-appointment of Cde, Ateny Wek Ateny as the Governor and Chairperson of the SPLM in the State.

The masses in the state are of a great concern for urgent needs of change of the current leadership of the state government and the party. Majority of the SPLM members and the people are requesting H.E, Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit President of the Republic of South Sudan to provide solution for the current messes in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State.
