The United States has announced new visa restrictions targeting citizens of 31 African nations, limiting non-immigrant and non-diplomatic visas to single-entry only with a validity period of just 3 months.
🔒 These changes, introduced under a U.S. policy shift effective July 8, 2025, apply only to new visas issued on or after this date. Previously issued visas will remain valid until their original expiration.

West Africa:
Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Gambia, Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Togo
Central Africa:
Angola, Cameroon, Chad, Congo Brazzaville, DR Congo, Equatorial Guinea
East Africa:
Burundi, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda
Southern Africa:
Zambia, Zimbabwe
