🚨JUST IN: Anyaar Nguan Community Holds Consultative Meeting in Juba

The Anyaar Nguan Community of Tiap-tiap Payam (Cueibet County) held a consultative meeting today at Rio Hotel in Juba, ahead of the upcoming Anyaar Nguan Peace Conference.

Key resolutions from the meeting:

1. The conference date is confirmed for 20/04/2026.

2. A 9-member high-level committee was formed:

- Colonel Deng Mador Koch – Chairperson
- Lt. Col. Arop Manyuon Wantok – Deputy Chairperson
- Molana Meen Nyuar Meen – Secretary General
- Brig. Gen. Mariik Kachuol Payom – Member
- Cde. Yuen Mathor M. Yuen – Secretary for Finance
- Cde. Majok Nyang Deng – Member
- Cde. Aguer Chol Derkoc – Member
- Cde. Dut Makoi Mayuom – Member
- Cde. Daniel Mayom Machar – Member

3. High-level committee members will meet for a financial review on 10/04/2026.

We urge the general public to remain calm, as all three individuals have no serious injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.

We remain committed to a peaceful Lakes State Peace Tournament and wish a speedy recovery to everyone who was injured.

Yirol match postponed after fan steals goalkeeper's 'Magic' handkerchief

You can't make this stuff up! Lakes State Peace Tournament semi-final betwen Yirol East and Yirol West came to a screeching halt in Juba after a fan allegedly stole the goalkeeper's handkerchief, believed to be his secret "juju" charm!

The star goalkeeper refused to continue playing without his lucky hanky, insisting the game would not proceed until it was returned. Officials were left completely baffled.

With no other solution, they were forced to postpone the entire match, leaving spectators in disbelief.

The tournament, which celebrates Governor Gen. Rin Tueny Mabor's peace efforts, now faces a major delay over a missing handkerchief and a heavy dose of superstition. This is the kind of drama even peace can't solve!
