SSPDF repulsed and in hot pursuit of NAS rebels

Today, at 8: AM, March 25th, 2025, NAS rebels, launched a daring attack on own defensive foxholes at Kansuk, Ngapo Payam, Kajo Kejo County in Central Equatoria State.

The outlaws were immediately repulsed and pursued. On conducting battlefield searches, 8 corpses were found on the ground including the body of the commanding officer, Maj. Lado Alfred Luojang. 6 AKM- 47 assault rifles were recovered from neutralised and fear stricken NAS fighters who fled in disarray.

*Bor Town Water Treatment Plant to be open soon, Set to Enhance Clean Water Access*

*Bor, Jonglei State, South Sudan – March 22, 2024*

Senior government officials, including Gen. Kuol Manyang Juuk (Senior Presidential Advisor), Hon. Isaac Mamer Ruk (Minister of Land, Housing, and Public Utilities-Jonglei State), and Hon. Achiek Machar Ayuen (Mayor of Bor Municipality), visited the Bor Town Water Treatment Plant today to inspect progress on the critical infrastructure project. Slated to open soon, the plant marks a major milestone in efforts to improve clean water access in Jonglei State.

Initiated on August 18, 2022, the project is spearheaded by the Ministry of Land, Housing, and Public Utilities in collaboration with the South Sudan Urban Water Corporation. Funded by the Kingdom of the Netherlands and implemented by UNICEF, the facility will serve Bor Town and its borders. To ensure uninterrupted operation, the plant integrates dual power sources: solar panels for daytime use and generators for night

Pope Francis to be discharged from Hospital on Sunday, Vatican says

The Pope will be discharged tomorrow, March 23, after more than a month at Gemelli Hospital.

He will return to his residence at Santa Marta, but doctors have indicated that he will need around two months of convalescence. Although his health is improving, he will not immediately resume his usual schedule.

One of the main challenges in his recovery will be regaining his voice.
