🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Parliament has passed the proposed amendments to the National Elections Act, 2012, paving the way for South Sudan’s scheduled General Elections on 22 December 2026.

The National Elections Act, 2012 (Amendment) Bill, 2026, will now be presented to President Salva Kiir for assent before it can come into force as law.
