Why Sanction now after thousands death?
The current US administration sanctioned the Russians' government for invading Ukraine and that sanctions doesn't work against powerful Putin. Sudan's el Bashir has been indicted for war crimes and he's still enjoying his life comfortably. The US foreign policy fail terribly with this administration at the helm. Should we just say the USA is pushing the Republic of South Sudan away from having a good relationship with her?
The minute the US government slams down the sanction on the table, Salva Kiir Mayardit and his group will turn to other super power nations most noticeably the China and Russia. The project that the US is trying to implement through G-7 plus FOUR would not yield fruits.
I think getting to the bottom of what caused the fail "COUP" attempt will make sense than rushing to sanctions on individuals despite the suffering of the people on the ground. Ummmm.....I'm wondering why Sen. John McCain hardly criticized his old buddy, the current US Secretary of State, John Kerry. Failure at best right?
Oh well, we shall wait to see who's on the list as the must wanted from both government and rebel group. I hope Secretary of States, John Kerry would add the self proclaimed Gen. Gordon Buay Malek Chol to his list of most useless terrorist for instigating the suffering of poor people daily in South Sudan knowingly. What do you all think?
