150 SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES OFFERED BY THE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ALGERIA FOR THE 2026/2027 ACADEMIC YEAR
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MoHEST) is pleased to announce the availability of 150 scholarship opportunities offered by the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to eligible South Sudanese students for the Academic Year 2026/2027 enrollment.
Applications shall be collected and submitted to the: Department of Training and External Relations at the Headquarters of MoHEST. Located at Atalabara, Nimira Talata Malakia Road Opposite Antipas Pharmacy, Juba
CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be a South Sudanese National
2. Submit a copy of the Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent;
3. Submit a copy of a valid Passport of at least six (6) months validity and age assessment/birth certificate, National Identity Card (ID).
4. Academic certificates obtained from South Sudan should be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of South Sudan, meanwhile foreign academic certificates should be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign affairs of the Host country endorsed by the Embassy of South Sudan in the given country.
5. Submit a copy of valid Medical Certificate, confirming absence of contradictory evidence against studying.
6. Submit Two (2) copies of recent colored passport-size photos.
7. Submit a Certificate of good conduct (Criminal Record) print with in this month of August or first week of September 2026.
8. Fill the scholarship form indicating your State, Counties, Payam and Boma.
9. Application forms are only obtained from MoHEST Headquarters at a fee of 25,000 SSP Only.
10. A duly completed Scholarship Application Form;
11. The applicant’s selected field of study from the list of available fields enclosed with the application form.

Closing Date: 4th September 2026
Applicants are advised to ensure that their application files are complete, accurate, and submitted within the stipulated application period. Incomplete applications or applications submitted after the deadline may not be considered.
The Ministry encourages eligible South Sudanese students to take advantage of this important opportunity to pursue higher education and acquire knowledge and skills that will contribute to the development of the Republic of South Sudan.
