On behalf of Sahel Institute of Technology - SIT and on my own behalf, I am honored to officially announce a Free Comprehensive Training Program for all team doctors of football clubs across Bahr El Ghazal and Abyei Administrative Area.
Why This Training?
During the recent Bahr El Ghazal Peace Tournament, I carefully observed the medical support offered to players. While the dedication of our team doctors is commendable, I identified a high need for structured medical training to ensure that football players receive the best possible care on and off the pitch.

• Physical therapy practices and safe return-to-play timelines.
5. Nutrition and Performance
• Role of nutrition in performance and recovery.
• Creating individualized nutrition plans.
6. Mental Health and Wellbeing
• Early recognition of stress, burnout, and mental health issues.
• Strategies for resilience and athlete wellbeing.
7. Regulatory and Ethical Issues
• Anti-doping policies and fair play regulations.
• Ethics in sports medicine.
8. Team Collaboration
• Strengthening communication with coaches and players.
• Building effective medical support teams.

• Duration: 4 weeks
• Eligibility: Open exclusively to all official football team doctors across Bahr El Ghazal and Abyei Administrative Area.

Appeal for Support
I kindly request the President of the Bahr El Ghazal Peace Tournament, together with all county football presidents, to consider this initiative favorably and grant their approval. This training will not only strengthen our teams medically but will also improve player safety, enhance performance, and uplift the standards of football in our beloved Bahr El Ghazal region.
I believe this opportunity will inspire our doctors, protect our players, and build the professional foundation necessary for the growth of football across South Sudan.
Thank you very much for your attention, understanding, and anticipated support.
With gratitude and respect,
Dr. Khon A. Akoldit
