: From rebellion to defense of a corrupt uncle: is Tearz Ayuen not demeaning Napoleon Adok, a libel of an innocent man? (Part 1)

The sudden shift in Tearz Ayuen’s stance, from being a vocal critic of corruption to becoming a devoted defender of his uncle, Hon. Michael Makuei Lueth, is not only surprising but also incredibly concerning. Initially, Ayuen’s intention was to expose the misconduct within the government, but unfortunately, it has now turned into an unabashed defense of Makuei, a man with a well-documented history of corruption.
Tearz has recently been targeting Napoleon Adok G*i, the Managing Director of the National Communications Authority, falsely accusing him of being responsible for a parliamentary motion that summoned Makuei regarding corruption allegations. Yet, this groundless accusation against Adok is merely a tactic to divert attention away from the actual actions of Makuei.
Hon. Joseph Bol Agau brought up the motion in Parliament to hold Michael Makuei responsible for his corrupt actions. Makuei is facing allegations of mishandling finances, practicing nepotism, and engaging in corrupt practices by awarding contracts to his own family members. In this, nothing pertains, Adok. The primary functions of the parliament include overseeing the executive.
Unfortunately, Ayuen has unjustly associated this parliamentary investigation with Adok, accusing him of corruption without any supporting evidence. Like Makuei, Adok would have faced summons from Parliament if he had been engaged in any illicit dealings.
The tragic decline of Tearz Ayuen is amplified by the challenges he faces in his personal life. His exit from South Sudan was not motivated by political or security reasons, but rather by debts and inability to support his family.
