TWIC MAYARDIT YOUTH LEADERSHIP IN JUBA UNDER DEPENDENT YOUTHS.

By: Rehan Ajuet Moun
Date: 23 April, 2025 South Sudan

The leadership of the Twic Mayardit Youth Association has encountered significant challenges since the election of Aguek Ring and Malang Ring.

Originally, the Association aimed to foster positive changes in youth affairs; however, it has now devolved into a platform for personal grievances, undermining the dignity of the Twic Mayardit community as a whole.

Upon analysis, it appears that the Youth Association has transformed into a family affair, marked by a tit-for-tat dynamic between the leaders.

I urge both leaders to step aside and resolve their differences privately, away from the public eye of the Twic Mayardit Youth Association.

In light of these issues, a revival committee was established to withdraw all activities and documents from both chairpersons and the broader community leadership.

This committee will facilitate new elections, empowering the youth of Twic Mayardit to voice their concerns and elect leaders who genuinely serve their best interests.

It’s vital for the Association to refocus on its original mission of fostering positive change, unity, and development within the youth community. The leadership must prioritize the collective needs of the youth rather than indulging in personal disputes which only serve to divide and dishearten the community.

To accomplish this, the revival committee will engage with youths across Twic Mayardit, gathering their insights and recommendations.

This outreach will ensure that the newly elected leaders truly represent the voices and expectations of the young people. It is essential to cultivate a culture of transparency, accountability, and inclusivity—values that should underpin the Association’s operation.

Moreover, establishing workshops, training, and several community initiatives can help reinvigorate the spirit of collaboration among youth, guiding them towards constructive participation in their community.

By investing in the development of youth skills and leadership capabilities, the Association can reclaim its role as a pillar of hope and progress for younger generations.

In conclusion, I call upon all members of the Twic Mayardit community, especially the leaders, to reflect upon the purpose of their work. Let us strive for unity and commitment to our youth, enabling them to emerge as strong, proactive leaders of tomorrow. Only through collective effort can the Twic Mayardit Youth Association fulfill its promise and uplift the youth of South Sudan.

S*X is sweet but there's POISON in between the legs!!

A man who can control his sexual urge is a man who can live many years on earth.

Men don't know that some of their downfalls are caused by MULTIPLE girlfriends.

Not every girl has a good spirit.

Some are demons, some has poison in between their legs.
Some women are destiny destroyers; becareful.

1. Do not obey your Er****on at all times. Most Er****ons mislead you to wrong direction.

Control your er****on if you don't want to to have few days on earth with much poverty on you.

2. Don't date a lady because she has sexy curves, b***s and shapes.

Those things are just deceptive avoid such, don't fall for what is called the irony of social media.

3. It is not everything you see under skirt that you should hustle to eat, some skirts contain snakes that will bite you and leave you uncomfortable.

Control your sexual urge.

Self control and abstinence in most cases pays a lot.

4. Having many girlfriends doesn't make you a man.
It only makes you a womanizer, a cheat, sinner and a boy.

5. For the fact that you are good in bed doesn't make you a man. A real Man is the man who does not run from his responsibility but faces it squarely.
6. Respect any lady that loves you. Yes, it is not easy for a lady to throw her love on you and support your future.

7. The world celebrates successful men.
Nobody will celebrate you for having many girlfriends.

Therefore what is the benefit? Waste of energy, money and waste of S***m.

Remember, being honest, loyal and faithful that's the TRADEMARK of a REAL MAN...

NO SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: TWIC MAYARDIT'S STAGNANT FUTURE

Article.
By Rehan Ajuet Moun
Date: February 7, 2025

Twic Mayardit's potential is stifled by a stark reality: wealthy community members consistently fail to support the development initiatives proposed by its ambitious youth. This lack of investment is not merely hindering progress; it’s actively shaping a future where Twic remains marginalized and lacks the respect it deserves from neighboring communities.

Our community boasts an abundance of educated, energetic, and hardworking young people. They are brimming with innovative ideas – sustainable agriculture projects, educational programs, and small business ventures – all designed to propel Twic forward. Yet, these vital proposals are consistently met with indifference, if not outright opposition, from elders who prioritize ostentatious displays of wealth at venues like Freedom Hall over genuine community investment.

I've witnessed firsthand how elders, instead of nurturing the next generation's initiatives, actively use their financial resources to sabotage promising projects. This isn't a matter of simple disagreement; it's a systematic undermining of progress. The youth's efforts are not only ignored but actively thwarted.

This pattern of behavior is deeply concerning. Twic Mayardit cannot achieve its full potential while its leadership prioritizes superficial displays of wealth over meaningful investment in its future. We, the youth, are left with little choice but to appeal to the conscience of our elders, urging them to shift their focus from fleeting displays of opulence to the long-term prosperity of our community. We need their support, not their opposition.

The time for change is now. We must move beyond the cycle of neglect and actively cultivate an environment where innovation and collaboration are valued, not suppressed. Only then can Twic Mayardit truly flourish.

RESPECT FOR ONE'S AFFAIRS.

Article By Rehan Ajuet Moun.
Date: 05/February/2025

In our communities, it is essential to uphold respect for one another’s affairs. Conferences, such as the Twic conferences, should be proposed and managed by the individuals who represent and understand the needs of their respective communities.

For instance, if I, hailing from Adiang, propose a conference for the Adiang community, it is my responsibility to clearly outline the benefits and objectives of such an initiative. If my proposal fails to convince the community members, then it is their prerogative to engage in discussions to address any concerns or reservations they may have. This principle equally applies to the Akoch, Kuach, Akuar, Amiol, and Cabok communities.

Unfortunately, I have observed a concerning trend where individuals seem to leap from their own rights and affairs into those of others. This meddling is not only inappropriate but also counterproductive to the cohesion and respect within our communities.

Moreover, I question why there seems to be a lack of guidance for our youth when they resort to using hostile language against other communities in the media regarding conferences. It is imperative that we foster an environment of constructive dialogue rather than destructive criticism.

In conclusion, respecting the affairs of others fosters unity and understanding. Let us encourage one another to focus on our own matters while supporting the decisions and discussions of our peers.

ACCURACY IN NEWS REPORTING ON SOCIAL MEDIA

BY: Journalist Rehan Ajuet Moun

In today's fast-paced digital world, accuracy in news reporting on social media is paramount for gaining the respect and trust of the public. However, as a journalist, I have observed that many reporters using online news media outlets often prioritize speed over accuracy, resulting in misleading information being disseminated widely.

A glaring example of this can be seen in the recent reports regarding a marriage negotiation agreement.

Some media houses cited the agreement as involving 300 cows, while others reported it as 400 cows. This discrepancy raises a critical question: which report is correct? The confusion only serves to erode public trust in the media, as audiences are left unsure of what to believe.

As responsible journalists, we must take the time to verify information before publishing it.

This entails arranging our resources, examining the facts, and confirming the details through reliable sources.

Rushing to be the first to report a story does not equate to being an accurate source; in fact, it can have the opposite effect. Reporting inaccurate information—even if it’s done first—can damage credibility and misinform the public.

In an era where misinformation can spread like wildfire on social media, it is our duty as journalists to uphold the ethical standards of our profession.

Ensuring accuracy should be the cornerstone of our reporting practices, as it is fundamental to maintaining trust with our audience.

Let us prioritize accuracy and integrity in our reporting, and work diligently to verify information before sharing it with the public.

Only through responsible journalism can we foster a well-informed society.

Thank you for reading.

**Journalism: A Voice for Civil Rights and the Discovery of Solutions**

**Article 3**

By Rehan Ajuet Moun

Journalism is not merely a business; it is a vital voice for civil rights and a means to uncover causes and solutions to the issues that affect our society.

I feel compelled to address the true essence of journalism, especially as many university students in South Sudan, from various colleges and departments, have come to view journalism as a way to make money and engage in opportunistic pursuits. This misconception is troubling and detrimental to the field.

When journalism is treated as a hustle for profit, it undermines the ethical standards that are essential for conducting interviews and reporting. Journalists have a responsibility not to chase fame or financial reward but to bring the realities of life to light while ensuring that individuals can speak truthfully without fear of retribution.

It is far more rewarding and meaningful to earn the appreciation of civilians for your work than to seek approval from those in power who should be held accountable. A journalist’s role is to question the 'why, when, where, who, and what' that underpin the challenges our communities face.

As a South Sudanese journalist based in Juba, I advocate for a return to the ethical principles of our profession, emphasizing integrity and the pursuit of truth above all else.

**Who Deserves to Die Like Animals?**

**Article 2**

By: Journalist Rehan Ajuet Moun

Who truly deserves to die like animals? In South Sudan, the government has tragically shot and killed some individuals, while others find themselves in hospitals receiving treatment for their injuries. This violence did not originate from the citizens; it arose from their grief and anger in response to the actions of the Sudanese Armed Forces, which killed South Sudanese nationals in Wad Medani, who were merely trying to survive in that area.

The turmoil experienced by the citizens of South Sudan was borne out of sorrow, yet the government has responded with lethal force against its own people. This reaction has only served to deepen the confusion and discontent among the populace. Has the South Sudan government taken sides with their former country, or is this a misguided effort to suggest that the actions of the Sudanese government towards South Sudanese nationals are justifiable?

It is crucial for our leaders to consider the implications of their actions on the citizens they represent. The loss of life and the suffering endured by our people must be addressed with compassion and justice.
