Lou Nuer Elders restore pegs in kueldhoal.

The pegs of Nyathoai Yai and Dhool, brutally burned by the SSPDF last month in Kueldhoal, have now been restored by community elders.

The destruction left deep pain and sorrow, striking at the heart of the community’s identity, heritage, and ancestral spirit. In a quiet but powerful response, elders have rebuilt what was lost reviving not just symbols, but dignity and hope.

Though the wound remains fresh, the message stands firm: the spirit of Pieri cannot be broken, and its identity will never be erased.

Everyone knows Nuer politicians and leaders are not united, especially Nuer Bentiu the problem of South Sudan and the problem of the Nuer tribe itself.

So why are people opening their mouths and complaining, saying that Vice President Hussein Abdelbagi Akol insulted Taban Deng by telling him to go and talk and unite Nuer leaders and communities in Unity State?

Since when did “go and unite people” become an insult? That sounds less like disrespect and more like a difficult assignment nobody wants to attempt.
Nuer, and especially Nuer Bentiu, are the problems of South Sudan we shall continue to say that… even if some people are still busy arguing instead of uniting.

How can Nuer come all the way from Upper Nile, Jonglei, or Unity State and attack Dinka in Central Equatoria State?

The killing of 47 Dinka miners in Khor Kaltan near Jebel Iraq has been pinned on the innocent Nuer by some Dinka people and media houses with no proof.

The Jaang know that once they mention Nuer in anything, the government will act quickly even though Nuer have nothing to do with alot of incidents they accuse Nuer of. It’s like saying “Nuer” is the fastest way to get attention from the government.

And what are Dinka doing in Jebel Iraq, a land that doesn’t belong to them, if that’s not their yilyil dien…

Dinka fear and hatred against Nuer is not new. Jang have always been afraid of their Nuer brothers for thousands of years..... at this rate, even if someone dies of sickness, somehow, somewhere, Nuer will still be blamed.
