BREAKING NEWS 🚨
Tanzania has reportedly joined Botswana in taking a tough stance against South Africa following the increasing xenophobic attacks targeting foreign nationals.
In a strong statement, the President allegedly warned South African citizens to leave the country within 48 hours or face forced removal. The government also announced the immediate suspension of all air and maritime trade relations.
The Tanzanian leader criticized the South African government for failing to protect foreign nationals from violent attacks, reminding the nation of the solidarity and support many African countries gave during the anti-apartheid struggle.
She further stated that African citizens should not be humiliated or attacked in a country that once welcomed freedom fighters and exiles during difficult times.
