Funeral Arrangements Announced for Legendary Footballer Joseph Nyang Agoth Nyang

The family of the late Joseph Nyang Agoth Nyang, widely known as Muzee or Croc, has announced the official funeral arrangements and invites the public, especially the people of Twic Mayardit, Amuol Gemdit, and the wider sports community, to join in honoring his life.

The body will be transported from Juba to Turalei via Wau on the morning of Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

The funeral program will begin early in the morning. The body will leave Juba Funeral Home at 5:30 AM and proceed to the airport at 5:45 AM.

Mourners are invited to gather at Juba International Airport at 6:00 AM to pay their final respects before departure.

From Juba, the plane will fly to Wau, where the body will then be transported by road to Turalei in Twic County, Warrap State, for burial.

Joseph Nyang Agoth Nyang was born on January 1, 1974, and passed away on April 24, 2026. His passing is a great loss to the community and the sports fraternity.

Malual Williy to Launch “Nyan Malual” Album on May 29

The Organizing Committee has officially announced the launch of Nyan Malual, a new album by South Sudanese artist Malual Williy, scheduled to take place on 29th May 2026 at Munuki Playground in Juba.

The event is expected to begin at 5:00 PM and continue until late, bringing together fans, music lovers, and supporters for an evening dedicated to live entertainment and the celebration of local talent.

Organizers have invited the general public to attend and show support for Malual Williy as he unveils the much-anticipated album.

They described the event as a special moment for both the artist and his supporters, noting that strong public attendance will contribute greatly to the success of the launch.

The committee has encouraged well-wishers to turn up in large numbers and be part of the celebration.

Adiang Mayomdit Student's Association Chairlady Denies Resignation Reports

Juba, South Sudan - Mrs. Alek Mayen Jong, Chairlady of Adiang Mayomdit Student's Association in Juba, has denied reports circulating on social media that she has stepped down from her position.

The rumors were spread by Turalei TV, a social media page, but Mrs. Jong has described the information as false and unverified. In an interview with Citizens Insight Media, she expressed disappointment at the lack of professionalism displayed by the media outlet.

"It's better if people preach reality and accuracy for the truth from the citizens, but if you're preaching lies and unverified information then it's not," Mrs. Jong said. "I'm calling on my people to stand away from those false information."

According to Mrs. Jong, a recent meeting of the association was solely for constitution review, and the formation of a constitutional review committee was officially announced.

The chairlady's statement aims to set the record straight and urges citizens to be cautious of misinformation.
