Mores’son Dee Releases New Song Honoring Aweil East Community Chairperson, Garang Deng Aguer

Popular South Sudanese artist David Deng Kuol, widely known as Mores’son Dee, has released a new song dedicated to Garang Deng Aguer, the Chairperson of the Aweil East Community in Juba.

In the song, Mores’son Dee highlights the leadership and protection Garang Deng Aguer has provided to the youth of Aweil, praising his efforts in supporting and uniting the community.

The singer is already well known for his famous hit song titled “Where is University of Northern Bahr el Ghazal,” which gained popularity among many South Sudanese listeners.

Aweil South County, NBGS— The family of Hon. Valentino Ayuong Deng Geng has announced his passing and invited the community to attend his funeral set for today *18th May 2026 in Nyieth Payam Village, Aweil South County, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.

Hon. Valentino Ayuong Deng Geng, widely known by his nickname *Ayuong Majakdit*, was a respected figure in his community. In the announcement, relatives described him as an uncle, colleague, and friend whose life touched many across family and public circles.

The funeral arrangements are being handled by the family, who have called on relatives, in-laws, colleagues, and friends to gather in Nyieth Payam Village to honor his life and legacy.

What a great Loss to Aweil South community and Northern Bahr el Ghazal State!

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Honorable Valentino Ayuong Deng, a respected figure and beloved elder paliet community Aweil South. His death is a tremendous loss, not only to our family but also to Northern Bahr el Ghazal State (NBGS-A) in particular.
Hon. Valentino Ayuong Deng played a significant role in our community, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. His passing brings a sense of hopelessness in our collective struggle and reminds us of the fragility of life.
May his innocent soul continue to rest in eternal peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the entire community during this difficult time. 😢😭😭😭🕊️😇♾️🌍

Stephen Lual meets UAE parliament speaker to strengthen bilateral ties

Stephen Lual Ngor, a member of South Sudan’s Transitional National Legislative Assembly, held talks with Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, during an official visit aimed at deepening parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, Stephen delivered a written message from the Speaker of South Sudan’s parliament, Joseph Ngere Pasiko, underscoring efforts to strengthen ties between Juba and Abu Dhabi.

The engagement, attended by South Sudan’s Chargé d’Affaires in the UAE Nyadeng Deng, highlighted the growing relationship between the two nations and their shared commitment to expanding cooperation.

Stephen said the visit reflects South Sudan’s push to build stronger strategic partnerships with Gulf countries, particularly the UAE, with a focus on advancing development and stability.

Both sides also held discussions on enhancing parliamentary diplomacy and improving coordination between their legislative institutions, reaffirming their intention to deepen bilateral relations for the benefit of both countries.

Breaking News: Unknown Driver Arrested in Nyamlel After Refusing Security Inspection

An unidentified driver operating a V8 vehicle was arrested in Nyamlel after allegedly refusing to cooperate with security personnel while attempting to cross into the state without proper authorization.

According to reports, the vehicle was travelling from the Kiir Adem area of Aweil North County when it was stopped by security officers in Nyamlel for routine inspection.

Sources say security personnel requested clarification and necessary travel authorization, but the driver reportedly declined to comply with the officers’ instructions.

Following the incident, both the driver and the vehicle were detained and are currently under security custody in Nyamlel as investigations continue.

Aluel didn't request Cows in her songs nor did she requested for support during her tour to Aweil ..

Aluel had her husband that provides her needs and does it to the fullest and she didn't complain to Aweil..

The chiefs and politicians understood why Aluel sang the song and showed the love to Aweil beyond description..

it's not that what had been done to her should be equated to what was done to others because God bless people differently.

Therefore, we should show her love then critics that might made her see imagine she didn't expect about Aweilians.

Dear familys Relatives, in-laws,Colleagues, friends and well-wishers,
I hope this message finds you in good health. I want to inform you that My beloved uncle Hon. Valentino Ayuong Deng , also known as Ayuong-majakdit, is currently in a critical condition at Aweil's hospital. He is suffering severely, particularly in his feet, as clearly shown in the picture below.
Your prayers are urgently needed in this difficult time for my maternal uncle’s recovery. Your support and thoughts are greatly appreciated.
