Over 200 South Sudanese to be deported from US

A total of 230 South Sudanese have been appointed by Donald Trump decision and ready to be deported back to the coutry.

According to Morse Report, 100% of the Trump Administration’s TPS terminations are now in effect.

"In total, recipients from 14 individual nations have had their Temporary Protected Status terminated, opening over 1.2 million immigrants to immediate deportation from the United States" the report partly read.

However the names of those to be deported were not listed.

Efforts by Aweil News Agency to reach out to South Sudan Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation were not successful at the press time.

Tension at the SPLM Secretariat in Aweil

Tension has reportedly emerged this morning at the Northern Bahr el Ghazal SPLM Secretariat in Aweil, where the 51 elected SPLM members from the 2010 election have raised serious concerns and called on the SPLM Chairman and Governor, Charles Madut to intervene.

According to sources on the ground, SPLM Secretary-General Kerblino Theip Tong and other secretariat officials were reportedly arrested by security agencies this morning.

Further details remain unclear at this time.

Two family members die in separate incidents in Aweil South County

Two members of the same family have died in separate incidents in Aweil South County, on August 15, according to Richo Lual Tong.

The first incident involved a road accident in which Anok Mawien Jal, wife of Simon Gar Akuocmanik, died after a vehicle overturned in Panjap while traveling from Aweil to Panthou.

According to the account, the vehicle was being driven by Gar Akuoc. Anok Mawien Jal sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Aweil Sate Hospital for treatment, where she later died from the injuries.

In a separate incident on the same day, Jal Mawien Jal, identified as the stepbrother of the late Anok Mawien Jal, died by su***de.

The clarification emphasized that Jal Mawien Jal was not among those injured in the road accident.

The two deaths have left the family mourning the loss of two relatives on the same day.

The family has appealed for prayers and support as they mourn their loved ones and navigate the difficult period.
