Breaking: NBGs -YU in Aweil penned a condemnation letter and demanded Akuac Wol to immediately apologise to Aweil community.

The Northern Bahr el Ghazal State Youth Union (NBGS-YU) strongly condemns the recent social media remarks made by Akuac Wol that sought to disparage the reputation, dignity, and image of the Aweil community.

This is a call from the youths at home on behalf of the entire community.

BREAKING: Fatal Crash at 7 - Days Roundabout in Juba Leaves Several Injured

A serious road traffic accident occurred today at the Seven Days Roundabout in Juba, leaving several people injured and at least one person feared dead.

According to eyewitness Apiu Rose, the crash involved multiple road users, with casualties confirmed at the scene.

“A very terrible accident happened a few minutes ago at Seven Days Roundabout. Many people got injured and others died. I witnessed one dead body,” she said.

She attributed the incident to heavy trucks, particularly water tankers, which she said continue to pose risks to small road users such as boda boda and keke operators.

Apiu further urged riders to exercise caution when sharing the road with heavy-duty vehicles, especially in busy urban areas.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement on the cause of the accident and the number of casualties.
