Here is why there is liquidity crisis in the country-shortage of SSP!

A reliable source revealed that a few months back RSF engaged Vice President for economic cluster in UAE agreeing for SSP to be used by the recently declared government of the RSF in its territories. Bol Mel reportedly received $55 million to trade it with the SSP. This amount depleted the SSP in the market.

Sadly, the VP did not use this money to print another SSP, instead, according to the source, it was divided between his office and that of his boss office.

VP agreed to stabilize another government and leave the country dry.

As RSF has legitimate issues coupled with the fact that most of its members are sanctioned for human rights abuses, there is no company in any western countries that can make business with them to print new currency. Hence they had to opt using SSP currency in their jurisdiction.

Sources from the central bank alleged that the government of SSD owes the company that prints SSP an accumulated debts amounting to millions USD, which the government if South Sudan is unable to pay. VP attempted to transfer the printing of SSP from the original company to the UAE, however, the company which owns the copy rights rejected the idea until they are paid.

SSD government is thus stuck and unable to move an inch.

Twic East is set to attain yet another independence after enduring a long and exhausting struggle for identity — from Bor District, Kongor District, Greater Bor, and finally breaking away from Twicda ku Dukeen (TKD).
This marks the fourth independence, making history as the only community to have undergone a complete political metamorphosis — much like an insect that refuses to stop evolving.

This latest “liberation” comes after what Twic leaders described as a territorial invasion — when the Hol community from Dukeen took full control of Buothagany landing site, while Lok of Nyarweng boldly declared themselves the legitimate owners of Gadiang, a land Twic also claims.
Such developments provoked the Twic East Youth Chairman, who passionately called on all youth in Juba to “go home and reclaim the motherland.” The youth cheered, clapped, and vowed to move immediately.

However, when the buses were finally brought for the grand return, not a single youth showed up — proving once again that Twic East might win wars of words faster than wars of territory.
