Again, this does NOT excuse abusive behavior — but unresolved trauma mixed with humiliation can turn pain into hostility faster than South Sudanese politicians turn peace agreements into decorative paperwork.
And yes, reckless drinking and drug abuse often become emergency exits for people trying to silence memories that refuse to shut up. This, ladies and gentlemen is but a sample of Tearz Ayuen's current situation, please don't mind him.
To conclude.
Sexual violence against men — yes, MEN too, since society acts shocked every single time this is mentioned, well, Tearz's case is a practical example(you can ask Nas Warrap and Tonj for more)— creates deep shame, confusion, isolation, mistrust, and emotional collapse. Many victims suffer quietly because the world expects men to “man up” while their mental health is busy falling down the stairs.
So any South Sudanese like Tearz — especially those from Bor who view Nuer community through lenses polished by trauma, grief, and bitterness — MAY NOT NEED COUNTERATTACKS, INSULTS, OR ONLINE GLADIATOR MATCHES.
I recommend,They need help, Real help, Psychological help, Community help and of course Human help.
Because sometimes the loudest hatred is just an untreated pain wearing boxing gloves.
