Jieng Cultural Festival 2025 Now Free and Open to the Public
Juba, South Sudan — The Organizing Committee of the Jieng Cultural Festival 2025 is excited to announce that entry to this year’s event will now be completely free of charge for all attendees.
Initially, the festival was announced through our official promotional materials with a planned entrance fee and scheduled to take place at Juba National Stadium. However, following an outpouring of public feedback calling for a more inclusive and accessible celebration, the committee convened for its third official meeting and unanimously resolved to make the festival free and open to all.
This decision reflects our shared commitment to unity and the cultural values that bind us. The Jieng Cultural Festival is a proud celebration of heritage, identity, and community — and we believe everyone should have the opportunity to take part, regardless of financial barriers.
Please Note: While preparations are actively underway, a new date for the festival will be announced soon. The venue remains Juba National Stadium.
We warmly invite all communities, cultural groups, artists, and citizens from across South Sudan to come together and participate in this vibrant celebration of Jieng culture and heritage.
