โ€ŽThe Aweil East County Youth Association Fund Mobilization Committee in Juba, led by Chairman Mr. Angelo Alou Anyar, held a fruitful meeting today with the Aweil East Community leadership.

โ€ŽThe committee met with Amb. Garang Deng Aguer, Secretary General of the Federation of Aweil Community in Equatoria (FACE) and a respected community leader.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽDuring the meeting, the Fund Mobilization Committee presented its quotation and work plan to the community leadership. They also discussed the roadmap for the upcoming inauguration ceremony of the Aweil East County Youth Association, which will be led by Mr. David Adim Maduok and is scheduled to take place in Wanyjok, Aweil East County.

โ€ŽSpeaking during the meeting, Amb. Garang Deng Aguer pledged his full support to the committee and the inauguration initiative.
โ€ŽHe urged the youth to prioritize the development of the community and to work together in unity.

โ€Ž"Donโ€™t let politics divide us. Let us work for peace, unity and accept each other as Sons and Daughters of Mading Aweil," he stated.

โ€ŽIn his remarks, Chairman Angelo Alou Anyar made a strong appeal to politicians, intellectuals, business people of Aweil East County and NBGs, and to friends and well-wishers to support the initiative.

โ€Ž"When we come to your office, donโ€™t look at us as a committee sent by an individual. We were chosen and appointed by the community to do its work. Whatever support you give will make an impact," Mr. Anyar said.

in; Police Arrest Suspected Drug Dealer in Aweil's Maper Akot Area.

The Police Commissioner of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State has confirmed the arrest of a suspected drug dealer during a security operation in the Maper Akot Aru residential area of Aweil Town.

Speaking to the media in Aweil, the State Police Commissioner, Maj. Gen. Gabriel Guet Padiet, said police arrested a suspect accused of selling illegal drugs, including Tramadol and Sh**ha.

The Police Spokesperson for Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, Col. Madut Ngong Aleu, said the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) conducted a large-scale operation in Aweil Town targeting illegal drug trafficking and drug abuse in the Maper Akot and Sakis areas.

"The Criminal Investigation Department recovered 14 cartons of Tramadol and Sh**ha during the operation. The suspect believed to be supplying these drugs within the town has been arrested and is currently in CID custody pending further investigation," Col. Madut said.

He added that the suspect will be charged in court after investigations are completed.
He also appealed to individuals involved in the illegal drug trade to stop their activities.

"The Criminal Investigation Department will continue carrying out operations to eliminate drug-related crimes and protect the people of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State," He said.

The two documents dated ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ‘ ๐€๐ฎ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”, reportedly issued without official reference numbers, purportedly give directives and ๐ซ๐ž-๐œ๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐–๐จ๐ฅ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐ฒ๐ฎ๐จ๐ง as Chairperson of the Aweil North County Youth Association, despite concerns regarding alleged violations of the Constitution of the Aweil North Youth Association and other matters previously raised in the NBGs Youth Unionโ€™s condemnation statement dated ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘ ๐‰๐ฎ๐ง๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”.

Based on the Constitution of the ๐๐๐†๐ฌ ๐˜๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐”๐ง๐ข๐จ๐ง, the Union maintains that the Ministry and other institutions or committees do not have the mandate to unilaterally confirm or appoint County Youth Association leadership.

The Ministryโ€™s responsibility is to ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ก ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ, rather than interfere with or assume the constitutional roles and responsibilities of the Youth Union.

GOMJUERDIT-WEDWEIL, AWEIL WESTโ€“ During the final funeral rites of the late Dut Lual Dut held on 02nd August 2026 in Ameth Village, Gomjuerdit-Wedweil, Sultan Deng Angok Apiin. conveyed a message to all relatives and friends both abroad and within South Sudan.
