Leader pledge Jerries donation to Football Team

Brigadier Gen. Dut Yai Anyar took the responsibility of buying sports-wears for Aweil East football players in Juba.
Gen. Dut made the announcement today at South Sudan Hotel in a meeting organized by Aweil East football Association.

โ€œI and Gen. Garang Ayii takes the responsibility of buying sports-wears for the players. I am told that these jerrries cost 2,500 USD.

So we are going to take charge of this, as a small support to our players. It is part of motivation because players sacrifices themselves to represent us and so we have to support them,โ€ Gen. Dut said.

Inauguration of New Leadership at Freedom Hall

Today, at Freedom Hall in Juba, the new leadership of the Bahr El Ghazal Counties Peace Tournament (BCPT) was officially inaugurated in a ceremony attended by community leaders, youth representatives, general public and invited guests.

Mr. Joseph Majok Ayar Chieny has been inaugurated as President of BCPT. His leadership marks a renewed commitment to peace, unity, and youth engagement through sports across the Bahr El Ghazal region.

Gen. Aleu Ayieny reconciles former Governor Lewis Anei Kuendit

H.E. Amb. Bol Wek Agoth, presided over a forum of Greater Tonj intellectuals in Tonj Town whereby he facilitated reconciliation between Gen. Aleu Ayieny and Hon. Lewis Anei Kueindit which is a boost towards realization of peace in Greater Tonj amidst the current State of Emergency.

"Today is a day to reflect on contributions made by Warrap citizens during the liberation struggle of South Sudan with notable characters such as Gen. Aleu Ayieny Aleu and Hon. Lewis Anei Kuiendit."

According to the Governor, cooperation between intellectuals is vital and hence the likes of Gen. Aleu and Hon. Lewis should lead in demonstrating the spirit of peace and reconciliation especially at this moment that we need peace in Greater Tonj and Warrap State which the youth will follow.

Governor Agoth solicited Greater Tonj intellectuals to unite with him and convince the youth that a pen is mightier than a gun. "A pen can build bridges, save lives in hospitals and revolutionise agriculture." Continued the Governor.

Greater Tonj leaders including Gen. Aleu and Hon. Ustaz Lewis called upon the youth to follow in their footsteps and forgive one another for peace to prevail in Warrap State.

A Respected Businessman donates 1,500 USD to football team.

Respected SouthSudanes businessman Bol Marol Ben has contributed 1,000 USD to Aweil East county football team and 500 USD to players.

Bol made the contribution during the meeting organised by the AEC football Association today.
Bol urged the players to showcase their talents as primary objective of the competition.
โ€œEach person has a talent God has given him . So you players, your given talent is the sport. Please do it with whole of your heart,โ€ Bol says

Bol Marol further advised the players to practice discipline and respect among themselves, coaches and referees while in the action

Businessman Mr. Wol Dut Angui has contributed 2,000,000 SSP or 2 Million SSP to Aweil East football Association in Juba.
The money is meant to suport the players while Playing Bahr El Ghazal Counties Tournaments scheduled to take place soon.
Wol encouraged the players to maintain peace and unity during the competition.

Stephen Lual: President Kiir and VP Bol Melโ€™s leadership is transforming South Sudanโ€™s economy

Hon. Stephen Lual Ngor, a member of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Transitional National Legislative Assembly, has praised the leadership of President Salva Kiir Mayardit and Vice President Benjamin Bol Mel for steering South Sudan toward a modern, stable economy focused on improving citizensโ€™ welfare.

Speaking during a Saturday morning appearance on SSBC, Hon. Lual credited President Kiirโ€™s clear directives and vision for driving the countryโ€™s ongoing economic reforms, while also commending Vice President Bol Melโ€™s efforts in leading the Economic Cluster. He said the duoโ€™s leadership has laid a strong foundation for recovery and sustainable growth by tackling financial mismanagement and modernizing the countryโ€™s systems.

He highlighted the governmentโ€™s shift to electronic financial management and digital payment systems as key achievements, noting these reforms are improving transparency, ensuring timely salary payments, and rebuilding trust between the state and its people.

Lual also pointed to the Bank of South Sudanโ€™s role in stabilizing liquidity and supporting electronic payments as part of the broader reform agenda, carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.

He assured that the next phase will bring more tangible improvements, including regular salary disbursement and strengthened economic stability. Hon. Lual concluded by reaffirming the National Assemblyโ€™s commitment to supporting the reforms through legislation and oversight to ensure meaningful progress for all South Sudanese.
