Colors of the Nile: A Bugema Runway Dream"

Beneath the Ugandan sky so wide,
At Bugema’s stage, in grace I stride.
Silks like rivers, bold as fire,
Draped in dreams of South Sudan’s desire.

The drums echoed, the lights burned gold,
As stories of my homeland rolled.
Each step a prayer, each turn a fight,
To wear my flag in borrowed light.

They saw the Nile in my walk’s flow,
The resilience in my shoulders’ bow.
Not just a gown—but history’s thread,
Of battles won and paths ahead.

Then cheers rose as my name was called,
Second runner-up—the crowd enthralled.
Not just for me, but the skies we chase,
South Sudan stands with pride and grace.

So remember this when spotlights fade,
The runway’s more than the marks we made.
It’s the fire of youth, unbroken, true—
I walked for us. And we shone through.

✨🇸🇸 For Bugema, for the soil that raised me, for every South Sudanese dream waiting for its spotlight.

Sometimes God uses to tell us he is there for everyone and those small children are angels of God they don't know hatreds,they don't have enemies and they have is love .

A 5 year old boy from Kilo 50 (Dandok) came to us complaining of left eye injury while playing with his elder brother and that J-Hook entered his just above the eye ball and injured the upper eyelid near the orbital bone .

The Hook 🪝removed by cutting its base and creating the small exit from upper eyelid .
The eye ball is safe thanks God 😊
The wound dressed ,antibiotics and pain killer given
