GOVERNMENT OF SOUTH SUDAN CLOSES SCHOOLS FOR MORE THAN TWO WEEKS DUE TO HEAT WAVE:

The government has ordered the closure of school and introduce shifts system for the public servant for more than two weeks due to escalating heat wave caused by the climate change.

The directive , effective From Friday follow report of more than 12 student collapse daily in juba city, highlights the severely impact of the extremely heat on school children and individual with underlying conditions and general public .

The decision was made during meeting chaired by vice president Josephine Joseph lagu,and evaluation of reports from the ministry of health , environment and education regarding the heat wave which is expected to persist for over two weeks.

In Join media statement, The ministry of environmental and forestry Josephine Napwow cosmos caution the public about the danger of heat wave.urging the citizens to take the warning seriou.

Meanwhile, the minister of health, Aya warille and deputy minister of education Martin Tako moi emphasis that the decision align with the government commitment to prioritizing the public health and safety.

What had we ( Pakam community ) done wrong in South Sudan that we ( Pakam community ) deserve such negligence from kiirdit leadership, no representatives amongst the cabinets and undersecretary at National level .

We ( Pakam community ) have contributed alots of efforts during the struggle, but we're not recognize as liberators .
We need adminstrative area ( Pakam adminstrative area, PAA)

Power to the people, Pakam community are eagerly waiting for theirs Adminstrative area PAA . 🙏🚄

Since independence to date, our contribution has never been refunded back.
No roads, no water, for instance, boreholes, no schools, no government hospital, no representation in the national government or undersecretary, in fact no development. We have never smelled the independence of this country we all fought for.
