PUBLIC UPDATES
The details concerning the under House Arrest of Bol Mel are confirmed by the following events:
(1) Early in the morning at around 7: 00 AM, South Sudan time, Chief of Military Intelligence and the Director General of National Went to the House of Bol Mel.
(2) The purpose of their visit was to withdraw or downsize the security details of Bol Mel. All his bodyguards were withdrawn except ten bodyguards were left with him.
(3) In addition, tanks were reduced in number and UPDF were told to report to their base at Bilnyang base.
(4) He was allowed to go to his office in the morning and he actually went after that. However, General Paul Nang came at around 9:00 AM and carried Bol Mel back home (Bol Mel's house) where he came in the morning. .
(5) Since he was taken back home, Bol Mel has never returned to his house and never returned to the office.
(6) I checked his office through someone who was at his office at around 12: 00 PM but he told me that his office remained close.
(7) With the above details, we presumed that Bol Mel is under security restriction or under House Arrest unless his office makes statement to clear the air.
