PROFILE OF ALEK YUOT DENG: Candidate for Chairlady – Nyan Cït Ariakbeek, Juba
Alek Yuot Deng, 26, is a visionary leader and rising star from Kongor Apioloch, Pan Alek–Pan Yuot, in Twic East County. Known for her brilliance, humility, and unwavering commitment to community development, she has emerged as a dynamic force among young leaders in her community. Her journey reflects a blend of academic excellence, professional integrity, and grassroots engagement.
Alek’s education began in Kampala, Uganda, at Standard Junior Primary School, where she completed her Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) in 2014. She continued her secondary education at Fula Secondary School in Nimule, completing Senior Four in 2018.
Driven by her passion for organizational leadership, Alek joined Starford International University, where she earned both a Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resource Management. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Juba, further sharpening her expertise in people development and strategic leadership.
Throughout her journey, Alek has consistently demonstrated a commitment to service and leadership. She has worked as a teacher and held various leadership positions across youth platforms. Currently, she serves as an Auditor at Plascom Company. She also played a key role as a member of the Independent Electoral Committee (IEC) for the recently concluded TEYA elections (2025–2027), where she championed transparency and youth participation.
Alek’s leadership style is defined by humility, integrity, and vision—qualities that have earned her the trust and admiration of her peers. She stands as a beacon of hope and progress for the next generation of Pan de Twic East.
Her candidacy for Chairlady is not just a personal milestone—it is a movement toward inclusive leadership, cultural pride, and a brighter future for Nyiir Pieth Cit Arialbeek in Twic East County.
