On our today:
The National Revenue Authority (SSNRA) has reported a significant milestone—collecting 132.6 billion South Sudanese Pounds in non-oil revenue for the month of March.

While this figure marks progress in domestic revenue mobilization, many citizens continue to raise concerns that such collections are not translating into tangible service delivery or timely salary payments.

So today we ask: Are you, as a citizen, seeing the benefits of this revenue? Is it making a difference in your daily life? Name one service area you want to see improved in your locality.
We want to hear from you. Have your say.

The U.S. has taken a strong stance, revoking visas and temporarily barring South Sudanese nationals from entering the country.

The decision stems from South Sudan’s initial refusal to accept a deportee — someone the U.S. claims is South Sudanese. But Juba argues otherwise, saying the individual is actually Congolese. Despite the disagreement, South Sudan later agreed to receive the individual in Juba.

This raises some serious questions:
How did this person get South Sudanese documents in the first place?
Are there loopholes in how passports and nationality are granted in South Sudan?
What systems are in place — or missing — to verify someone’s citizenship?
We want to hear from you. How can South Sudan tighten its citizenship processes? What needs to change to avoid similar diplomatic clashes in the future?
