Breaking News: 🔹Armed Youths Linked to Deputy Governor Involved in Malakal Assault Incident

Armed youths reportedly associated with the Deputy Governor, Deng Joh, assaulted two South Sudanese in Malakal yesterday,one from the Nuer community and one from the Shilluk community.

Witnesses say the youths were carrying guns. Although they did not shoot at anyone, several warning shots were fired into the air, causing widespread fear among residents.

The incident triggered panic, forcing innocent Nuer civilians to flee for safety. Many rushed to the Agwelek base in Malakal, while others sought refuge at the governor’s residence.

Vice president Mama Rebecca Nyandeng could not hold her tears back after having learnt that her son is finally back home.

Mabior Garang Mabior had moved to Nairobi and became a small scaled business owner and the CEO of Tomato movement at the same time after resigning from his position as a deputy minister of water and sanitation.

South Sudan’s minister of environment Mabior Garang hugs his mother mama Rebecca Nyandeng after being appointed to one of the prominent positions.

The CEO of the tomato movement Mabior Garang Mabior happily hugs his mother shortly after moving to Juba to play his role as the new minister of environment.

Mabior could not let his mother go, holding on to her as she sheds tears of joy.

However, multitude of citizens accorded applauses to the family of the Hero Dr John Garang who brought Southern Sudan to life, mentioning that they deserve the privilege to manage and play the role in their prominent positions.
