It is also the best studio in the world with its 80 year legacy, a host of award-winning engineers, three stunning acoustic rooms as well as the largest working
microphone collections in the world and a coveted mix of vintage and cutting-edge recording equipment. Artists that have recorded, mixed, mastered or performed at Abbey Road reads like a whose who in contemporary music. In the rock and pop field Kylie, Adele, Elbow, Lady Gaga, Sir Paul McCartney, Sting, Amy Winehouse, Madonna, Professor Green, The Feeling, Gary Barlow, Florence and the Machine, Kate Bush, Angela Gheorghiu, Elton John, Beady Eye, 2012 Olympic Opening and Closing ceremonies anthems and theme songs. Abbey Road is also famous for its live events and performances. The Mastering engineers at Abbey Road are some of the best in the world and have mastered the likes of Ed Sheeran, Keane, Radiohead (vinyl), Franz Ferdinand, Kylie Minogue, Glas Vegas, Mumford & Sons and Gorillaz, Ed Sheeran, Paul McCartney, John Lennon and David Bowie, Charlotte Church, White Lies, Tinie Tempah, Deadmau5, Alex Turner, Coldplay (Vinyl), Divine Comedy, Katie Melua, Au Zarfar, Richard Hawley, Johnny Marr, My Bloody Valentine and Suede.
