في هذا المنزل المدمر تطوع اساتذة و مجموعه من سكان الحجر الاسود لتعليم الاطفال وتقديم دروس تقوية باللغات العربية والانكليزية والرياضيات يجتمع الاطفال كل يوم جمعه وسبت للحصول على هذه الدروس التعويضية المجانية لتدعم دروسهم. In this destroyed house, teachers and a group of residents from Al-Hajar Al-Aswad volunteered to teach children and provide extra lessons in Arabic, English, and mathematics. The children gather every Friday and Saturday to receive these free remedial classes to support their studies.

عندما سألنا المسؤول في موقع البناء عن تشغيل الأطفال في البناء، قال: "إنهم أطفال، والأطفال لا يشتكون!". قصة عيسى وكثيرين مثله ممن لا يجرؤون حتى على الحلم في سوريا.

فخورون بالإعلان أن خليل عشاوي فاز بجائزة سمير قصير لحرية الصحافة في دورتها العشرين 🏆 عن فئة التقرير الإخباري السمعي البصري، عن تقريره من إنتاج مؤسسة tiny hand – يد صغيرة.

يروي التقرير قصة معاناة الأطفال في سوريا، وصراعهم المستمر من أجل الحياة، حتى بعد سقوط نظام الأسد. هو شهادة مؤثرة على جراح لم تندمل بعد، وعلى براءة لا تزال تدفع ثمن الحرب.

هذا الفوز هو تقدير لشجاعة خليل، ولرسالة تايني هاند في نقل أصوات من لا صوت لهم، والدفاع عن إنسانيتهم.

We are proud to announce that Khalil Ashawi has won the Samir Kassir Award for Freedom of the Press 🏆 in its 20th edition, in the audiovisual news report category, for a story produced by Tiny Hand.

The report powerfully depicts the ongoing suffering and daily struggles of Syrian children — a fight for survival that continues even after the fall of the Assad regime. It is a moving testament to wounds that never healed, and to childhoods still paying the price of war.

This award honors Khalil’s bravery and Tiny Hand’s mission to give voice to the voiceless and to defend their humanity through storytelling

Three stories of three children from different regions in Syria will be published consecutively. Each story reveals the lasting impact of war still visible in the lives of Syria’s children after Assad’s fall.

هذه ورد جلال الشيخ خليل، فتاة صغيرة التقطتها الكاميرا وهي تفر من ألسنة اللهب - بعد لحظات من استهداف غارة جوية إسرائيلية لمدرسة فهمي الجرجاوي في غزة بأربعة صواريخ حارقة صباح اليوم.

قُتلت عائلتها بأكملها في الغارة، إلى جانب ما يقرب من 30 شخصًا آخرين كثير منهم نساء وأطفال، بينهم 11 شخصًا من عائلة واحدة.

This is Ward Jalal Al-Sheikh Khalil, a young girl captured by the camera as she fled the flames—moments after an Israeli airstrike targeted the Fahmi Al-Jarjawi School in Gaza with four incendiary missiles early this morning.

Her entire family was killed in the strike, along with nearly 30 others—many of them women and children, including 11 people from a single family.
