MAYIWANE– Member of Parliament Khunga Nkhosi has distinguished himself as one of the few legislators committed to transparency and accountability after organizing community meetings to engage his constituents and assess his performance since being elected to Parliament.
The Mayiwane MP has embarked on a series of visits across different communities under his constituency, giving residents an opportunity to voice their concerns, share suggestions, and submit petitions on pressing local issues.
Nkhosi’s initiative has been described as a bold and uncommon practice among the country’s 59 Members of Parliament, many of whom are often criticized for losing touch with voters soon after assuming office.

In most cases, MPs relocate to urban areas and are rarely seen in their constituencies until the next election cycle, leaving communities feeling neglected and underrepresented.
