MANZINI: TQM Textile Swaziland is set to face former employee Lucky Stanley Dlamini at the CMAC on 18 August 2025, following allegations that he was unfairly dismissed despite suffering a workplace injury that left him legally blind.
Dlamini, who was injured in a chemical incident while on duty, says specialists confirmed his permanent disability. However, he received only R20,000 in compensation before being retrenched, allegedly due to “low orders.” When the company later resumed full operations, he was not reinstated.
According to the CMAC invitation issued on 6 August 2025, the meeting will take place on the first floor of Makabongwe Building, Old FNB Branch, starting at 10:30 AM. The conciliation process aims to facilitate a voluntary settlement between the parties before the matter potentially escalates to arbitration or the Industrial Court.
