3000 Supercar Rally to be Hosted in Thailand

The Gumball 3000 supercar rally is being hosted in Thailand from September 17 to 20, featuring over 100 luxury supercars. Driven by more than 220 global celebrities, the convoy will journey through 15 provinces: Sa Kaeo, Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao, Samut Prakan, Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, Ratchaburi, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Krabi, Phang Nga, Trang, and Satun.

A key event will take place at CentralWorld in Bangkok on September 17, sporting a supercar exhibition and live music. Another highlight will be a charity football match on Koh Panyee's iconic floating football field in Phang Nga province on September 19.....

Airline announces launch sale for the new route.One of the final missing pieces of the post-pandemic puzzle will fall into place with Jetstar set to reconnect Queensland and Thailand with direct services between Bangkok (BKK) and Brisbane (BNE).

Jetstar will fly the route 3 times per week from 13 December using a 787 Dreamliner. It will be the only non-stop service with a flight duration of just over eight hours, approximately half the current travel time via indirect routes.

The new service is forecast to bring in more than 190,000 additional inbound seats to Queensland over three-years, worth $116 million in Overnight Visitor Expenditure and up to 630 jobs.....

One dead, ‘multiple injuries’ in flight from London hit by severe turbulence

The 211 passengers and 18 crew on board are now in , to where the flight was diverted

A BRITISH man has died and multiple people were injured on Monday (May 20) on board a Singapore Airlines (SIA) flight which encountered severe turbulence as it made its way from ’s Heathrow Airport to Singapore.

The national carrier said in a Facebook post that flight SQ321 encountered “sudden extreme turbulence” over the Irrawaddy Basin at 37,000 feet, about 10 hours after departure. The river basin flows through Myanmar.....

Emirates has announced a third daily flight to Hong Kong, starting from 1 November. The additional flight, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, will provide non-stop services between Dubai and Hong Kong and support the growing demand for travel on the route.

Emirates is increasing services to 21 flights per week to meet market demand and offer customers greater flexibility, choice, and connectivity. With the third scheduled service, Emirates will now operate two daily direct flights to the city in addition to a third daily service via Bangkok, allowing customers to have more choice of timings to suit their travel plans......

Move seeks to hike ingredient exports

Thailand plans to hold the world's first "Kaphrao Grand Prix" in Bangkok to showcase the authentic Thai dish to foreign travellers and increase local ingredient exports, aiming to increase food expenditure among tourists from 20% to 25% by 2027.
