A label DJ for the legendary Iboga Records, she brings infectious enthusiasm, musical versatility, and technical mastery to her performances, each set a unique blend of sounds, style, and substance. Khromata first entered this electronic sound world as a teen,
when she encountered Goa Trance when growing up in Thailand. Spending years as a dancer and listening attentively at home, she developed a deep understanding both of the musical content that fuels the best tracks as well as what stylistic elements get a dance floor moving and grooving. Her immersive experience during these early years of this scene bolstered her innate sense of musicality and storytelling to form the foundation of her commanding presence behind the decks today. She forged her reputation in her current home city of San Francisco both as a performer and organizer, co-creating psytrance events with the production crew Pulse SF since 2012 and additionally throwing her own Khromata Nights events. Currently well into her second decade of DJ’ing, she has brought her broad-spectrum high-energy sets to major US cities like San Francisco, New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Seattle, with her international appearances including Germany, the UK, Denmark, Mexico, Canada, Panama, and Ukraine. Khromata has played at the most respected international electronic music festivals - several of them repeat appearances - among them EDC, Antaris Project, Noisily Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, Tribal Gathering in Panama, she is a regular DJ for Dreamstate, Eclipse Festival in Canada, the How Weird Street Faire, Symbiosis' Oregon Eclipse, and she is booked for the 2023 edition of the fabled Ozora Festival in Hungary. Her reliability and versatility have made her the ideal go-to for opening sets in support of legendary top-tier artists, among them Astrix, Liquid Soul, Vini Vici, Perfect Stranger, Captain Hook, Ticon, Animato, Emok, Pixel, GMS, Atmos, Deedrah, and more. Her own productions and collaborations have been released on Iboga Records, Phantasm Records, Transcape Records, and Free-Spirit Records, which led to being featured in Astrix's top 10 tracks chart on Beatport, and since 2020 she has spearheaded three chart-topping compilations on Iboga Records, Psychedelic Selections Volumes 005, 006, and 007. With her varied psychedelic spectrum of musical tastes and her vivacious energy channeled with intelligence and precision, Khromata continues her second decade of delighting and thrilling audiences across the globe.
