WAI KRU 2025
by EIC Year 2
I attended a special event on the 7th floor. The venue was beautifully decorated and had a calm atmosphere because it was a significant ceremony that happened once a year. On that day, I was with Golf, Gorya, Fluke, Mint, and other EIC students. I am one of the officers of the SAMO. So, I assisted in holding the flower tray for the teacher and helped in cleaning up after the event. I believe this event is worth celebrating because it allows us to express gratitude for our teachers' kindness and support, and also gives students a chance to create something meaningful and beautiful together. The most exciting part was when they announced the winners, wherein our class (the EIC Year 2) was awarded as the 2nd Runner-Up. I was surprised and extremely happy! Similarly, I was thrilled to see that our seniors (EIC Year 3 Class) received the 1st Runner-Up in the creative category of flower arrangement.

On Wai Kru Day, I went to the event in the university's gymnasium. There were a lot of flowers on the stage, and many students were sitting on mats preparing flower arrangements for the ceremony. After that, we chanted prayers and sang the Wai Kru song. I am part of the student club, and I help with various tasks like collecting the flower trays, setting up the venue, and participating in the ceremony. At the event, I was with my friends (Gorya, Fluke, Golf, and Na ), my fellow student club members, and several teachers. This ceremony reinforces the crucial role teachers play in our lives. It's a day to formally acknowledge their dedication, patience, and guidance. It teaches us the values of respect, gratitude, and humility. In a world that often forgets to appreciate those who shape our future, this ceremony serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of education and mentorship. The most exciting part was making my flower arrangement, and then competing to see what others had created.

On Thursday morning, July 31, 2025, I joined the Wai Kru ceremony. I was with my classmates and many students from my faculty. We listened to the speeches and gave flowers to the teachers to show respect. I experienced the event at Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin, Bophitphimuk Campus. The ceremony took place in a large hall. I saw flowers, candles, and a big stage with beautiful decorations. I think this event is worth celebrating because it shows respect and gratitude to teachers, fostering a positive relationship between students and teachers. The most exciting part was when we walked to the stage and gave the flower trays to our teachers. It felt special and made me proud of our class and the EIC Department.

It was my second year of experiencing the Wai Khru Day at my university. It took place in the main hall. Many students and teachers came to join. The hall was decorated with flowers and chairs. I was with my close friends, Golf and Fluke. We sat together and waited for our turn. We helped each other prepare the flower tray. We took some pictures together after the event. During the ceremony, I held a flower tray to give to my teacher. I walked slowly and bowed down to show respect. I said "Thank you" to my teacher with a smile. I felt proud and happy to be a part of this special event. It is a special day to thank our teachers. They work hard to teach and guide us. The event helps us remember to be grateful, which is a good tradition to keep in Thai culture. The most exciting part was giving the tray to my teacher. Everyone was quiet and respectful at that moment. I felt nervous but also very proud. The music and atmosphere made it feel so special.

On a special day for our teachers, I was tasked to carry a tray with offerings and pay respect to our teachers. I was with my close friends, Gorya, Mint, Fluke, and Na. This event helps students understand the importance of teachers, making it worthwhile. Taking a group photo and tying a sacred thread with the teacher was a great moment.
