I purposely decided to stop posting & engaging on this page, to prove how obsessive certain ppl are. It’s amazing how quiet it is, which in turn means your broke ass DOES have something more productive you can be doing… 🫠

When ppl harass me on social media, I immediately send a DM saying I feel unsafe & don’t take harassment lightly. Whatever happens after that, you were warned & I have a paper trail. 🤷🏽‍♀️

There is something freeing about not hiding the fact that I come from an upper class background. Growing up in the 90s and early 2000s as a Black girl, it was not as widely seen or accepted as it is now. I spent a lot of years shrinking that part of myself down just to fit in, WHEW!!! I’m free!

The older I got I realized part of why I struggled with friendships is because I was trying to be friends with people who, without me trying to sound stuck up, were honestly not of my caliber. We did not grow up the same. We did not have the same life experiences. We were not raised in the same financial class, and that makes a real difference. I spent time trying to assimilate into a version of accepted Blackness, just to be accepted by people who could not even sit with me & don’t like me.

Crazy part about me not looking for friends in Thailand, every time I see a Black person I inherently speak to them. I HAVE to acknowledge other Black Americans when I see you, so you know you aren’t alone & I see you. 🫶🏾🤍
