This morning's discovery: Piccolo Vicolo.
Tucked away from the city's pace, it's the kind of café that makes you slow down without trying too hard. Good coffee, quiet corners, and just enough stillness to lose yourself in a book.
I brought along Stoner by John Williams, which felt strangely fitting. It's a novel that finds extraordinary depth in an ordinary life, one that lingers long after you've finished it.
Some places and some books seem to belong together. This was one of those mornings.
