ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการกองทัพภาคที่ 2 ขอแถลงสถานการณ์การตามแนวชายแดนไทย - กัมพูชา ประจำวันที่ 29 สิงหาคม 2568 เวลา 14.00 น. โดยมีรายละเอียด ดังนี้
สถานการณ์โดยรวม กองกำลังทั้ง 2 ฝ่าย ยังคงวางกำลังตามแนวที่มั่นของตนเอง ฝ่ายไทยจัดกำลังพลประจำจุดเฝ้าตรวจ ตามเหตุการณ์ เพื่ ติดตามความเคลื่อนไหวของฝ่ายตรงข้าม และเตรียมความพร้อมในการปฏิบัติตอบโต้ตามสถานการณ์
การสร้างขวัญ และกำลังใจแก่กำลังพลที่ปฏิบัติภารกิจตามแนวชายแดนไทย – กัมพูชา กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ได้จัดชุดโรงพยาบาลสนามพร้อมทีม M-MCATT (ทีมเยียวยาจิตใจ) ลงพื้นที่ฐานปฏิบัติการชายแดนไทย –กัมพูชาทั้ง 4 จังหวัด เพื่อดูแลและประเมินสุขภาพจิตของกำลังพลโดยมีกิจกรรมพูดคุย ให้คำปรึกษา เสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งทางจิตใจ รวมถึงการปรับเปลี่ยนทัศนคติและพฤติกรรมในเชิงบวก เพื่อให้ทหารทุกนายมีพลังใจที่มั่นคงในการปฏิบัติภารกิจ ในปัจจุบันมีกำลังพลได้รับการประเมินทั้งสิ้น 4,824 นาย อยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่พร้อมปฏิบัติหน้าที่ 4,715 นาย คิดเป็นร้อยละ 98 การดูแลผู้อพยพ อำนวยความสะดวกประชาชนจากพื้นที่เสี่ยงภัย ไปยังพื้นที่รวบรวมพลเรือน 8 ศูนย์ ในพื้นที่ จ.อุบลราชธานี 3 ศูนย์ 101 คน และในพื้นที จ.สุรินทร์ 5 ศูนย์ 422 คน ปัจจุบันมียอด 523 คน เนื่องจากมีความวิตกกังวล ทั้งนี้ทางฝ่ายปกครองได้จัดชุดรักษา ความปลอดภัยหมู่บ้าน เข้าดูแลพื้นที่บ้านเรือนของพี่น้องประชาชนอย่างต่อเนื่อง การช่วยเหลือผู้ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์ จากการสำรวจความเสียหายในพื้นที่ 4 จังหวัด พบว่ามีบ้านเรือนประชาชน ที่ได้รับผลกระทบทั้งสิ้น 1,094 หลังคาเรือน
ปัจจุบันทางจังหวัดได้รับการสนับสนุนงบประมาณจากหลายภาคส่วน อาทิ กองทุนช่วยเหลือผู้อพยพ จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ งบกลางเพื่อบรรเทาสาธารณภัย งบจากองค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น กองทุนช่วยเหลือผู้ประสบภัยจังหวัด สภากาชาดไทย และกรมป้องกันและบรรเทาสาธารณภัยจังหวัด รวมถึงการสนับสนุนด้านกำลังพลจากหน่วยทหารในพื้นที่ในการเข้าช่วยเหลือและซ่อมแซมบ้านเรือนประชาชนที่ได้รับผลกระทบอย่างเต็มกำลัง โดยในปัจจุบันได้ดำเนินการซ่อมแซมบ้านเรือนของประชาชนที่ได้รับผลกระทบเรียบร้อยแล้ว 987 หลัง คิดเป็นร้อยละ 90
การดำเนินงานด้านจิตอาสา เป็นพระมหากรุณาธิคุณ ในวันนี้พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้า ฯ ให้ พลเอก ไพบูลย์ คุ้มฉายา องคมนตรี เยี่ยม ให้กำลังใจ และมอบถุงพระราชทาน ให้กับกำลังพลที่ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ ที่ได้รับบาดเจ็บจากสถานการณ์ชายแดนไทย - กัมพูชา ณ จว.สุรินทร์, จว.อุบลราชธานี จว.นครราชสีมา และ กรุงเทพมหานคร
ศอ.จอส.พระราชทาน มทบ.25, ศอ.จอส.พระราชทาน จว.สุรินทร์ ส่วนราชการในจังหวัด, จิตอาสา 904, จิตอาสาพระราชทาน และประชาชนจิตอาสา เยี่ยมให้กำลังใจ พร้อมมอบสิ่งของเครื่องอุปโภค-บริโภค และอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ประชาชน ณ ศูนย์พักพิงชั่วคราว วัดเทพสุรินทร์, อุทยานหลวงปู่ดุลย์ และ วัดศรีรัตนาราม อ.เมืองสุรินทร์ จว.สุรินทร์
กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ขอให้ประชาชนรับข้อมูลข่าวสารด้วยวิจารณญาณ และติดตามเฉพาะช่องทางอย่างเป็นทางการจากหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบ หรือหน่วยงานด้านความมั่นคงในพื้นที่ ซึ่งสามารถตรวจสอบและยืนยันข้อเท็จจริงได้อย่างถูกต้อง เพื่อป้องกันความเข้าใจคลาดเคลื่อนจากข้อมูลที่ไม่เป็นความจริง
The 2nd Army Area Operations Center reports the following situation along the Thai–Cambodian border as of 29 August 2025, 1400 hrs.

General Situation Both Thai and Cambodian forces remain stationed in their respective positions. Thai troops continue to man observation posts, closely monitoring the movements of the opposing side and maintaining readiness to respond to any developments.
Troop Morale and Welfare The 2nd Army Area has deployed field hospital units together with M-MCATT (Mental Health Crisis Assessment and Treatment Teams) to operational bases in all four border provinces. Their mission is to evaluate and strengthen the mental health of deployed troops through counseling, group discussions, and positive behavioral reinforcement, ensuring stable morale in the field.
To date, a total of 4,824 soldiers have been assessed, of which 4,715 were found fully fit for duty — equivalent to 98 percent.
Support for Evacuees Authorities, in coordination with government agencies, private organizations, and local volunteers, facilitated the relocation of civilians from high-risk zones to temporary shelters. Currently, 523 people remain in shelters — 101 across three centers in Ubon Ratchathani province and 422 across five centers in Surin province.
Assistance for Affected Families Damage surveys across the four provinces reported 1,094 households impacted by the conflict. With support from provincial relief funds, the central disaster relief budget, local administrative organizations, the Thai Red Cross, and the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, as well as manpower from local military units, restoration work has been accelerated.
As of today, 987 households have already been repaired, representing 90 percent completion.
Royal Support and Volunteer Efforts His Majesty the King graciously appointed General Paiboon Khumchaya, Privy Councillor, to visit and provide encouragement, as well as distribute Royal Relief Packages to wounded soldiers deployed along the Thai–Cambodian border. Visits and relief efforts covered Surin, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Ratchasima, and Bangkok.
Meanwhile, the Royal Volunteer Centers under the 25th Military Circle, together with Royal Volunteer Centers of Surin and Ubon Ratchathani, joined with local agencies, community leaders, and volunteer groups to visit shelters and deliver essential supplies to affected civilians. Distribution sites included Wat Thepsurin, Luang Pu Dul Park, and Wat Srirattanaram in Mueang Surin district.
The 2nd Army Area urges the public to exercise careful judgment in consuming news and to rely solely on official communication channels from responsible agencies. These channels ensure accurate, reliable, and timely information, preventing the spread of misinformation or misunderstandings.
