They have been denouncing in Lugo(Spain) for about 3 years the bad treatment suffered by donkeys, horses and ponies in different farms of the city, being repeatedly warned the corresponding authorities, without doing anything and without having acted ex officio since they are in sight of all.

The authorities ignore the issue because the owners of the animals declare themselves insolvent. Powerful gentleman don money.

In some cases the animals show obvious signs of malnutrition and their appearance is far from that of a healthy animal. Some remain tied months in the same place while others cam on the roads, in the middle of the city, with the consequent risk for road safety.

So from here we demand from the governors and the competent authorities that our taxes are worthy to pay attention to the petitions of the citizens, who pay their salaries.

We demand that the animals be seized and taken to a shelter where they can have a decent life, very different from the one they have led up to now: they remain wrapped in their own ropes, malnourished, without water and in the open all winter.Please sign.Thank you
